How long do timber windows last?

New Accoya timber window frames (which we work with) have a life expectancy of 60 years. Some windows have lasted up to ten years on top of that figure. You can rest assured that your new timber windows will last decades, and can easily be repaired and maintained to extend their lifespan.

How does different weather affect timber windows?

Timber windows and doors that are not properly sealed can shrink in excessively cold temperatures, and if exposed to long periods of high humidity, a lack of seal may cause the timber to warp. However, with quality Accoya wood and proper sealing, this is extremely rare.

How much are timber windows?

We approach every project from a fresh perspective, taking into account your design, quantity, and size requirements. This allows us to provide a bespoke timber windows quote that is competitive and tailored to your exact specifications.
